We have enjoyed two murder mysteries here. The staff is accommodating and prompt. The food is lovely and served quickly even for a large group. The murder mysteries are fab.

Lovely place to go but since they have changed their chef food not up to the usual standard. Complained about the quantity of food served as very sparse. Staff are very helpful. Come on Albert cottage we really love coming there for lunchtime and tea times
Lovely small historic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent food on top ! Beautiful grounds to sit and enjoy a drink. Highly recommended.
Just had to leave a glowing review of Albert Cottage as we have just had the most marvellous 3 night break there. Sandra, Gary and their staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely - clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view over the pretty garden. Food beautifully cooked and presented. We enjoyed a delightful Afternoon Tea in beautiful surroundings and, lucky enough to have sunshine, spent some peaceful time reading in said garden. Would definitely recommend this charming historical residence as a venue for rest and relaxation.
